服が過剰に前へ出るのではなく、
人と場の関係を静かに整えること。

MWは、そのための装いを設計しています。


-  なぜ過不足ないか  - 

装いは、服単体で成立するものではなく、
その場の空気や相手との関係性の中で定まるものだと考えています。

華美すぎても、簡素すぎても、
場にそぐわない装いは、違和感として現れてしまう。

MWは、日常から改まった場まで、
どのような場面でも過不足なく成立することを基準に、
素材・構造・分量感を設計しています。


-  なぜ成立か  - 

MWが考える「成立」とは、単に服が美しいことではなく、
その人がその場に自然に存在できている状態を指しています。

会食、学校行事、初対面、仕事。
人が社会の中で役割を持つ場面において、装いは印象や信頼に大きく関わります。


MWは、人が社会の中で静かに成立するための装いを設計しています。

MW is not designed for clothing itself to stand out.
We value garments that allow a person's presence to feel quietly composed.

we seek to quietly shape the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.

We believe dressing is not defined by clothing alone,
but by the relationship between the wearer, the setting, and the people around them.

When clothing becomes too excessive or too minimal,
it creates a sense of imbalance.
